You know those days when nothing is going right for you? Like you do whatever you can , with utmost dedication and energy, and the results just turn out to be terribly wrong. And everyone offers their sympathies and say they know what you are going through… But they don’t. Do they? Even when we are on the other side, we have no idea what someone else is going through. And that’s fine. All we can do is the same thing, offer sympathy, offer support and try not to gloat about how great our life is. Now that last point there, is really important. Trust me on this one. 🙂

So here’s a list of few essentials for those gloomy days:

  • Dark Chocolate- preferably Lindt


Somehow knowing that there is something darker than my day, definitively helps 😛 And its so addictive at the same time. This one day, I had like 3 packs in one go… Needless to say, I lost track of everything after that. 😀

  • A hot, steaming, masala filled bowl of Maggi


This is a necessity. Ultimate comfort food. Make a bowl of maggi (it takes more than 2 minutes by the way), add enough water to make it soupy, get in front of that TV and relax. It is a definite way to feel warm and happy inside.

  • Mashed Potatoes ( With extra butter and maybe a topping of chicken, salmon or mushrooms)

This comes with the magic power of making you feel full and also there are so many varieties that you can try!! I love the way London Fish And Chips make it… But even homemade versions are pretty good too 😀

This list is incomplete without including ice cream. That and a DVD with your favorite movies. Escape for a while, until you can tie up those shoelaces, adjust that crown and get back on the game again 🙂 Go and take over the world Amigo :*
